Artist Series: Seb McKinnon was the first installment in Secret Lair's Artist Series, a series designed to give individual Magic artists broad creative freedom over a selection of cards. McKinnon's four pieces formed a connected narrative about a knight encountering a faerie, accompanied by a poem written by his brother Liam McKinnon. The drop featured alternate-art treatments alongside a full-art basic land, with McKinnon's distinctive dark and atmospheric style making the release particularly notable for collectors.
