Death Is Temporary, Metal Is Forever embraced the dark, brutal aesthetic of heavy metal through artwork by Mark Riddick. The drop told a grim tale of undead warriors, violence, and damnation through its cards and accompanying poetry, creating the feel of a metal album brought to life in Magic. Its combination of macabre imagery and narrative storytelling made it a particularly distinctive release for fans of both heavy metal and fantasy.
The total value includes bonus cards only if all are guaranteed to be included.

Secret Lair Cards
Nekusar, the Mindrazer
At the beginning of each player's draw step, that player draws an additional card.
Whenever an opponent draws a card, Nekusar deals 1 damage to that player.
Whenever another creature dies, or a creature card is put into a graveyard from anywhere other than the battlefield, or a creature card leaves your graveyard, Syr Konrad deals 1 damage to each opponent.
{1}{B}: Each player mills a card. (They each put the top card of their library into their graveyard.)
Whenever an opponent discards a creature card, create a 2/2 black Zombie creature token.
Whenever an opponent discards a land card, add {B}{B}.
Whenever an opponent discards a noncreature, nonland card, draw a card.
Each player secretly chooses a number 0 or greater, then all players reveal those numbers simultaneously and determine the highest and lowest numbers revealed this way. Wheel of Misfortune deals damage equal to the highest number to each player who chose that number. Each player who didn't choose the lowest number discards their hand, then draws seven cards.
Given the rarity and limited information on some bonus cards, this may not be a complete list of all potential bonus cards available in this Secret Lair.
All Slivers have "When this permanent enters, you may fateseal 1." (To fateseal 1, its controller looks at the top card of an opponent's library, then they may put that card on the bottom of that library.)
