Sheldon’s Spellbook was a tribute to Sheldon Menery, the godfather of the Commander format, created with his direct involvement in selecting the cards and developing their art. The drop included cards connected to Sheldon’s legacy, including designs he created and his signature Commander, Ruhan. It also supported the American Cancer Society, with 50% of the product price from qualifying sales donated during the release window, making the drop both a celebration of Sheldon’s influence and a charitable tribute.

Until your next turn, your life total can't change and you gain protection from everything. All permanents you control phase out. (While they're phased out, they're treated as though they don't exist. They phase in before you untap during your untap step.)
