Prints of Darkness brought a playful macabre sensibility to Magic through Kathleen Neeley’s hand-crafted linocut-inspired artwork. The drop combined aristocratic imagery, ritual sacrifice, and dark humor, with the distinctive printmaking style giving the cards the appearance of handmade works of art. Its fusion of sinister subject matter and traditional printmaking made it stand apart from more conventional Secret Lair treatments.
