Secret Lair x Monty Python and the Holy Grail: Vol. 1 brought the film’s absurd medieval comedy to Magic through memorable scenes, quotes, and character references. Artwork by Stephen Andrade, Filipe Pagliuso, Chris Rallis, Greg Staples, and Andreas Zafiratos captured the film’s distinctive humor, while the double-faced Birds of Paradise offered a particularly clever nod to the famous African-versus-European Swallow debate. As the first of two volumes, it established the foundation for the broader Monty Python collaboration.
