Cats Are Better Than Dogs was one half of a playful Dogs vs. Cats Secret Lair experiment, using sales of the two releases to determine whether an all-cats Superdrop would be created in 2026. It featured the same card selection as its canine counterpart, but replaced the artwork with cat-themed interpretations by Joy Ang, Ashley Mackenzie, Andrea Sipl, Trashkittyart, and Erica Williams. The release stood out as both a collectible companion to the dog drop and a literal vote for more cats in Secret Lair.
