Secret Lair x SpongeBob SquarePants: Internet Sensation Foil Edition
March 24, 2025
Secret Lair x SpongeBob SquarePants: Internet Sensation celebrated SpongeBob’s remarkable impact on internet culture, where the characters of Bikini Bottom became enduring sources of memes, reaction images, and viral moments. Artist Tyler Walpole translated that digital legacy into Magic: The Gathering, bringing the familiar world of SpongeBob and his friends into a collection built around iconic expressions and moments from the series. The release captured a different side of the franchise’s cultural legacy, focusing on the characters’ status as internet icons rather than simply their animated origins.
