Secret Lair x Monster Hunter: The Hunt was planned as a Monster Hunter crossover built around reprint spells featuring artwork inspired by the franchise’s iconic monsters. Like the other planned releases in the Superdrop, it was postponed after Wizards of the Coast acknowledged that the original version did not sufficiently integrate Monster Hunter’s world and mechanics. Its status as an unreleased version that was pulled for a complete rework made it a notable part of the crossover’s development history.
