The Oddlands: Islands was part of Ricardo Cavolo’s Oddlands series, reimagining basic lands as surreal landscapes inhabited by enormous creatures. The Islands depicted a vast creature rising from the sea, its back transformed into cliffs, waterfalls, peaks, and dense feathers, with hidden scenes scattered throughout the artwork. The layered compositions rewarded close inspection, turning what appeared to be a simple island landscape into an intricate world filled with unexpected details.
