Inked showcased the work of Brooklyn tattoo artist Virginia Elwood, bringing her distinctive blend of traditional tattooing, Americana, folk art, and textile-inspired design to Magic: The Gathering. The release was part of the Chaos Vault alongside Back in My Day!, an unusual paired-release format that gave the two collections a shared place in Secret Lair’s release history. Elwood’s bold, vivid artwork made Inked a focused showcase of contemporary tattoo art within Magic.
