The Oddlands: Forests was part of Ricardo Cavolo’s Oddlands series, transforming basic lands into an enormous living landscape contained within a single colossal tree. Faces, flowers, fruit, mushrooms, and watchful eyes filled its branches, trunk, roots, and countless smaller scenes. The artwork’s dense layers rewarded exploration, making the tree feel less like a single illustration and more like an entire forest that could be endlessly explored.
